Rain is a powerful component of our great God’s Creation Plan.
We can’t live without. It represents Outpouring, Growth, Judgment, and more.
One of my favorite invitations and admonitions is Zechariah 10:1, that tells/invites/charges us to:
Zechariah 10:1
1 Ask the LORD for rain
In the time of the latter rain.
The LORD will make flashing clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.
Those concluding chapters in young (Hebrew: “naar”) Zechariah’s book inarguably/prophetically point to a mighty outpouring by God upon His faithful servants who are both aware of the timing of the plans of God, and walk in the sensitivity, hunger, and confidence to ask for that great final outpouring prior to our Lord’s return.
Meanwhile, the old video below presents itself fresh w the presence of God, as this saint of the Lord sings of the Flood Judgment, reminding us even now that our God means what He says and says what He means in regards to holiness, righteousness, and judgment to come. A solid message always, particularly now.
And for us: Zech 10:1
